Light Your Buddha Flame Within

Bhutan is world renown for her pure energy, many temples, sacred mountains, breathtaking views and her people humble and contented.

For the Bhutanese their spirituality is a way of life; they embrace their rituals, embody their heritage and their culture. Much of their land is kept in it’s natural state, which creates this natural healing and cleansing energy that shields Bhutan and being ‘at ease’, ‘relaxed’ can be felt just a few hours after touch down.

Far away from the worries and routine of our everyday life, we gather like-minded individuals on this retreat. To savour meals of chilli and cheese, discover local customs, and soak up as much of this unique energy. This powerful combination propels us to enter our own inner world, to breathe, to think, and to feel; to simply be in touch with ourselves, and by so doing, like the pilgrims who come to light the incense at the feet of the Buddha, you will light up your own Buddha Flame offering medicine to your body, mind and spirit.

Do you desire to experience all this?

If your heart whispered ‘YES’ to the question above, please ask yourself another few questions:

  • Is Bhutan already on your bucket list?
  • Would you like to feel more centered, more together and to be able to finally slow down your mind and be able to let go of worry and anxiety? Imagine how would your body feel?
  • Would you enjoy meeting more locals and learning more about the culture and history through real conversation rather than through interaction with only a guide on a tour?
  • Would you like to experience a holiday that is unrushed; where meal times, places visited and conversations are all experienced mindfully and deeply?
  • Do you feel a need to ‘get away from your daily routine‘ to recharge your body, mind and spirit, or do you need an infusion of inspiration in your life?
  • Do you desire to learn more about the Traditional Healing Arts?
  • What about receiving face-to-face Buddhist teachings and meditation sessions with a Khenpo in the cosiness of a small intimate group?
  • Hiking up to Tiger’s Nest- one of the most sacred places in the world and revisited over and over again by the locals and devout Buddhists from all over the world.

If you answered the following with more ‘YESes’ than ‘NOs’, then this retreat is a good fit for you!!
